Satyug Gold to open 22 new outlets

Satyug Gold Pvt Ltd plans to open 22 branches in different parts of the country, according to its Chief Executive Officer, Raj Kundra.

Speaking to newspersons at a press conference here on Thursday, Kundra said the proposed outlets would be spread across the south and north India. At present, Satyug has 62 partner outlets and seven own-outlets.

The company, which launched a gold plan wherein customers can buy gold from Rs 50 a day about two months ago, was aiming at acquiring two lakh customers with a turnover of Rs 400 crore by end of this financial year.

The gold plan comes with a guarantee from IDBI Trustees & Brinks as safe-keepers while all due diligence and back office work for Satyug would be managed by Karvy Computershare.
