Shemaroo Entertainment has joined hands with Viacom18 Motion Pictures to acquire exclusive video rights for 23 movies in Hindi, Marathi and Bengali.
“We firmly believe that content is king in our business and continuously work to expand our library which presently includes around 2800 titles. The deal will also allow us to offer fresh and latest content to our partners and consumers," Hiren Gada, Director, Shemaroo Entertainment said.
The 23 movies include acclaimed titles such as Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Bombay Talkies and Madras Café along with unreleased ones like Gabbar (featuring Akshay Kumar, Mary Kom) and One By Two featuring Abhay Deol.
