Super Religare Laboratories has rechristened itself as ‘SRL Ltd' with brand identity of 'SRL Diagnostics’ on Wednesday. The company also launched a new logo to augment its new brand image.
SRL is one of the leading diagnostic networks in Asia and after becoming a subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare Ltd, it elected to give itself a new identity.
The company also appointed Sanjeev Vashishta as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who was earlier with Fortis Healthcare Ltd as Zonal Director, Rajasthan.
“The new identity is symbolic of a new thrust, a second take-off we shall witness at SRL,” Sanjeev K Chaudhry, now the Managing Director (former CEO), SRL said.
The company said new logo will allow people to recognise and understand the core competencies of SRL in a better way.
“Considering the growth potential of the healthcare sector that India is bound to witness, the need to have a brand that can stand as an independent entity was strongly felt,” Sanjeev Vashishta said.
He said with the change in the name of the company, it was apt to unveil a new logo which reflects the present reality of the sector.
