TEECL commissions captive power plant for Bengal Energy

Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd  (TEECL) — an EPC contractor — today announced commissioning of a captive power plant for Bengal Energy Ltd, Kharagpur, in West Bengal.

The 40 MW plant will generate electricity from waste heat gas from a coke oven battery.

The Kolkata-headquartered TEECL is a listed entity and owns 207 MW of wind energy assets through a subsidiary. The company also has its own transmission networks.
