V Raja is MD of Philips India

Philips India has appointed V Raja as the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director effective December 1. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving and building the healthcare and consumer lifestyle businesses of the company in India. He takes over from A Krishna Kumar who took over the new role of Head of the Emerging Businesses Group for Philips globally. Raja is joining from TE Connectivity, where he was the President, India Operations, since 2011.
