Vivimed Labs Ltd has acquired Klar Sehen Pvt Ltd (KSPL), a Kolkata-based pharmaceutical company, for an undisclosed sum.
KSPL operates in the ophthalmic segment with presence in North-East, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh.
At present, the company has 150 sales professionals on its rolls and owns 50 brands such as Renicol, Lysicon-V, Care Tears and Dexacort in eye care segment.
“The acquisition of KSPL complements its strategy to increase its domestic presence in speciality pharmaceutical areas,’’ the Hyderabad-based Vivimed Labs said in a release on Monday.
The manufacturing facilities of Klar Sehen are located in Kolkata and Hyderabad. Its products are also being manufactured in Uttaranchal with some business arrangements.
