WeWork India adds 200,000 sq ft with new centres in Chennai, Pune

Workspace Operator, WeWork India has announced the signing of leases for two new centres - WeWork EON Free Zone in Pune, and WeWork Ramanujan Intellion Park in Chennai. Set to open in the second half of FY25, the new centres will add 200,000 t sq ft to the company’s portfolio.

After initially entering Chennai a year ago, WeWork India is opening its third centre, called WeWork Ramanujan Intellion Park, located at the start of Old Mahabalipuram Road. It is a fully customised workspace that operates across three floors of Littlewood Tower with 150,000 sq ft., and 2400 desks.

The EON Free Zone in Kharadi is WeWork’s seventh operational centre in Pune. It spans across 60,000 sq over two floors and houses 1,000 desks.

Commenting on this expansion, Arnav S. Gusain, Chief of Supply in WeWork India, said, “Chennai’s growing appeal as a tech and innovation hub, coupled with Pune’s vibrant commercial landscape, presents immense opportunities for businesses of all sizes.”

68 operational centres

Launched in 2017, WeWork India currently has 68 operational centres across cities like New Delhi, Chennai, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
