ACC Ltd, in which Swiss major Holcim holds the majority stake, has reported a marginal 2 per cent rise in December sales to 1.92 million tonnes from 1.88 mt in the same month last year. Also, production increased to 1.91 mt from 1.86 mt.
According to a company statement, total sales during 2010, however, decreased to 21.17 mt from 21.36 mt in 2009. Production also dipped to 21.21 mt from 21.38 mt.
