Ayush park to come up in Anantapur

Lepakshi Knowledge Hub will set up a AYUSH Park in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. With an investment of Rs 18 crore, the Park will host a cluster of companies that develop and manufacture products derived from medicinal plants.

The 20-acre project has got clearance from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. It has a potential to attract over Rs 125 crore investment from enterprises, said Mr Srinivas Balaji, Managing Director, LKH.

The Ayush Park is expected to create employment for over 100 people and provide income opportunity for over 5,000 farmers in the related sector. It will also connect farmers in the region with the market for their produce.

The Ayush facility will include research and development, testing and analytical facilities, common processing, manufacture, packaging, storing, etc., to facilitate the enterprises, he said in a press release.
