The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has commenced full-fledged investigation into cases relating to investigation of investments made by corporate entities into business ventures of Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, MP and President of YSR Congress Party.

``We have formed exclusive teams to commence investigation from today in the aftermath of search conducted by us in various places,’’ Mr V V Laskhminarayana, Joint Director, CBI told newspersons here on Monday.

When asked the outcome of searches, the CBI official said the details were submitted to the court. ``Our FIR and searches are completely based on the contents to a writ-petition filed in the High Court,’’ he said.

On the criticism that the cases on Mr Reddy were politically motivated, Mr Lakshminarayana said: ``We got the case on the directions of the High Court and the probe will be conducted impartially.''
