Force India academy to nurture driving talent

Dr Vijay Mallya-owned Force India Formula One Team has launched the Force India F1 Team Academy – an initiative aimed at identifying racing talent in India and providing vocational and academic training for young Indians aspiring for a career in motorsports.

Driving talent

The candidates will be trained across seven racing tracks in the country and ten finalists will do a week-long intensive stint at Silverstone, UK.

“The hunt is to find a potential Indian Formula One driver talent for the Force India team,” said Dr Mallya, Chairman and Team Principal, Force India F1 Team.

Exxon Mobil Lubricants is the title sponsor for the academy's initiative.
