The Uttarakhand government today selected candidates for the post of Lokpal in each of the 13 districts to monitor the works being conducted under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGS).
The candidates were selected at a meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary, Mr Subhash Kumar, an official release said.
