The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has appealed to dairy farmers to avail the seeds of milk yielding fodder maize.
A University release said that the seeds of this African tall variety maize, which is high green fodder yielding, palatable and milk yielding variety is available with the Department of Forage Crops.
Dairy farmers could use this opportunity to raise the African maize variety, University sources said.
