Bearish trend on sugar prices bl-premium-article-image

Sugar prices rule range bound with thin volatility on Friday. On reselling pressure -Vashi market witnessed bearish trend. Prices were down by Rs5 – Rs10. Naka and mill rates were unchanged on ease of volume. Steady increase was witnessed for inventory at Vashi on lower local dispatches in last few days which is today reached to 115 – 120 truck loads.

Arrivals at Vashi were 58 – 60 and local dispatches were at 57 – 58 truck loads. On Thursday evening 10 - 12 mills able to sell about 28,000 – 30,000 bags at ₹3,100-3,120 (₹3,100-3,120) for S-grade and ₹3120-3,170 (₹3120-3,170) for M-grade.

On Bombay Sugar Merchants Association's spot rates were: S-grade ₹3,192-3,232 (₹3,192-3,242) and M-grade ₹3,226-3,316 (₹3,232-3,320).

Naka delivery rates were: S-grade ₹3,160-3,210 (₹3,160-3,210) and M-grade ₹3,200-3,290 (₹3,200-3,290)
