Edible oil rules firm

Edible oils ruled firm on Monday tracking strong futures amid festival demand and support. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, palmolein and soya oil increased by ₹2 and ₹5 per 10 kg each. Groundnut oil rose by ₹10. Sunflower and rapeseed oil were steady. Cotton oil lost ₹3. Groundnut arrivals in Gondal-Rajkot mandi were about 9,500 bags and fetched ₹730-1,020. At Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin was ₹1,310 (1,300) and loose (10 kg) was flat at ₹820.
