Prices of edible oils declined on Thursday on weak futures amid lack of demand. Rising rupee and higher selling pressure kept the market under pressure. Stockists stayed away from fresh bulk buys. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was steady at ₹1,280 and loose (10 kg) was at ₹780. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 830 (830), soya ref. 757 (760), sunflower exp. ref. 755 (760), sunflower ref. 795 (795), rapeseed ref. 870 (870), rapeseed exp. ref. 840 (840), cottonseed ref. 785 (783) and palmolein 693 (697).
