Tea Board gets new deputy chief bl-premium-article-image

Neelam Meena, an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (1998 batch, West Bengal cadre) has taken over as the Deputy Chairman of Tea Board. She succeeds Roshni Sen who has gone back to West Bengal Government on completing her term in Tea Board. Prior to this, Meena was Private Secretary to Sisir Adhikari, the erstwhile Union Minister of State for Rural Development. She will now look after, among other things, the regulatory issues facing the tea industry, according to Tea Board sources.
