Aloysius Institute's B-school meet concludes

The Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte, won the overall championship in Verve 2011, a business-school meet organised by the MBA Department of the Mangalore-based Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) here from March 17-19.

Mr Allen C.A. Pereira, former Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Maharashtra, who was the chief guest at the valedictory function on March 19, said that most organisations hire talents to generate business leaders, so that they can sustain for a long term.

Mr Ivan Fernandes, Chairman of the Dubai-based KE Global, who was the chief guest of the inaugural function, urged the need to participate in the B-school meets like this.

Dr Oswald Mascarenhas, Chairman of the MBA Department of AIMIT, told the students that the best decisions are taken in a cool set of mind and not under stress.

Altogether 19 teams participated in the three-day event conducted by the Management Club of AIMIT. The team from St Joseph's Engineering College at Vamanjoor in Mangalore was the runners-up at the event.
