The Central Bureau of Investigation began questioning Kadapa MP and YSR party President, Mr Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, in the illegal assets case here on Saturday.

Mr Reddy was taken into CBI custody from the Chenchalguda prison this morning and is being probed at its office in Koti here.

On Friday, the Andhra Pradesh High Court had granted a two-day custody of Mr Reddy to the CBI following a petition from the probe agency that the five-day custody given earlier was inadequate.

Mr Reddy was arrested by the investigating agency on May 27 after three days of questioning. It had so far filed three charge-sheets in the case.
