Coinciding with the CII Kerala Annual Meeting, CII Kerala is organising the ‘Kerala Entrepreneurship Summit' on March 5 Gateway Hotel, Kochi.

The Entrepreneurship Summit would include eminent speakers from different parts of the country discussing on topics such as project planning, project execution, project financing, best practices learning, knowledge capital and systems and procedures.

Kerala has attained worldwide acclaim for its achievements in the social sector, but performance in the industrial sector has not been keeping pace with its potential.

The available capital and manpower are not being tapped adequately. People in the State are reluctant to invest in economically productive activities despite the available techno-economic talent.

The State Government has recognised this factor and instituted measures to tap the unique strengths of the State aimed at providing a sustainable stimulus for industrial growth.

To support the initiatives of the Government, CII is organising the Kerala Entrepreneurship Summit, Mr P. Ganesh, Chairman, CII Kerala State Council, said in a press release.

The objective of the programme is to awaken the spirit of entrepreneurship – both social and economic – within youth.

The programme would have approximately 200 participants and aims to inspire young minds.

The programme would be a platform for new-age entrepreneurs, eminent business personalities, academicians, venture capitalists and students to share their entrepreneurial endeavours and experiences, he added.
