GSTN expert panel to meet today

The expert committee led by Bihar Finance Minister Sushil Modi will meet on Thursday to review the working of the Goods and Services Tax Network. The meeting, which will also be attended by GSTN officials is expected to look into the GSTR return filing process and how to further simplify it. The committee is expected to give further recommendations to the GST Council when it meets on November 10. Businesses have begun filing the full returns for GST for July. While GSTR-1 has already been filed, GSTR-2 matching is under way till the end of the month. GSTR-3 for July will be filed up to November 10.
