Mohammed Ameen, president of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), has been appointed as trustee on the board of New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT).
A press statement by KCCI said here on Saturday that Ameen has been appointed as a trustee on the board of NMPT for the term 2013-15 by the Union Ministry of Shipping in a notification dated September 24. Ameen was recently re-elected as President of KCCI, Mangalore, for 2013-14.
