Key accused in Jagan case gets bail

A special court for the Central Bureau of Investigation has granted bail to Mr Vijayasai Reddy, in the illegal assets case of Kadapa MP, Mr Y. Jaganmohan Reddy. Mr Vijayasai Reddy, a close associate of Mr Jaganmohan Reddy, was accused number two in the case. He was directed by the Court to surrender his passport to CBI and not to leave Hyderabad. The investigating agency, however, had filed a memo in the Court requesting for the withholding of bail orders till April 16, 2012. Meanwhile, in the Emaar Properties case, CBI conducted searches again in some select locations, according to sources.
