Etihad Airways will fly daily to Bangalore from March 25 when the summer season begins.
The airline said it had increased the Abu Dhabi-Bangalore flight frequency from four flights a week following the success of its services to the city.
Etihad started operating to Bangalore in the beginning of 2011.
Ms Neerja Bhatia, Etihad Airways' Country Manager, said, “This latest increase in our Indian flying is indicative of the huge confidence we have in this important market.”
The Airbus A320 can carry 136 passengers, including 16 in business class.
