Hyderabad-based green mobility start-up BikeWo Green Tech Ltd, an Indian electric two-wheeler retailer, is pursuing an aggressive, hockey-stick growth by rapidly expanding its green fleet, tech stack, and geographic presence. For the same, it is in active discussions with several leading quick commerce and retail companies, aiming to onboard over ₹100 crore worth of new businesses over the next two years with strategic partnerships.

This journey of growth was kick-started by their first major strategic partnership with Instakart Services Private Ltd, a logistics subsidiary of the Flipkart Group, to support last-mile delivery activities in India with a range of electric and green vehicles, it said.

According to the start-up, with BikeWo currently focusing on the quick commerce industry, this recent partnership represents a huge step for both firms in their environmental initiatives. While Flipkart consistently invests in decarbonising its supply chain, BikeWo reaffirms its position as a national leader in electric vehicle-led logistics.

As part of this partnership, electric and other green vehicles will be deployed across Flipkart’s designated delivery hubs, enabling efficient and environmentally friendly transportation. Operations will be executed through a structured framework, with regular submission of hub-wise capacity plans and adherence to stringent safety, data security, and performance protocols defined by Instakart Services Private Ltd.

This infrastructure is also expected to enhance efficiency and scalability while reducing the carbon footprint of standard logistics operations

“This is more than a partnership, it’s a shared commitment to climate-conscious growth,” said Manideep Katepalli, Managing Director of BikeWo Green Tech Ltd. “As e-commerce volumes rise, it’s crucial that logistics keeps pace not just in speed, but in sustainability. We’re proud to enable Flipkart’s push toward a greener future.”

Flipkart aims to switch a large portion of its last-mile delivery fleet to electric vehicles by 2030. This ambition is reflected in the relationship with BikeWo, which combines technology-driven logistics with large-scale sustainability.
