Gearing up for its much-awaited launch, Delhi Metro has invited the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety for his mandatory inspection of the Anand Vihar-Vaishali corridor that will bring the new age transport to the doorsteps of Ghaziabad.
Night trials of trains on the 3-km link began on June 15 and have been successful so far, Delhi Metro officials said, adding trials during day time are expected to start soon.
Metro officials said the documents regarding the safety inspection were sent to CMRS, Mr R K Kardam.
