Three major carriers, Japan’s NYK, Taiwan’s Evergreen and Korea’s Hanjin Shipping, have announced to launch from October 29 a new weekly service, to be known as WIN Service, between the west coast of India and north Asia, according to shipping industry sources.
The WIN service, which will have a 35-day rotation, will deploy five vessels of 3,000-TEU capacity each, with NYK providing three vessels and Evergreen and Hanjin one each.
The port rotation will be Busan- Shanghai-Ningbo-Shenzhen-Shekou- Singapore- JNPT-Pipavav-Colombo-Singapore-Hongkong-Busan, the sources add.
