INVEST KARNATAKA 2016. Reliance Defence to set up Aerospace Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru

Reliance Defence, the defence arm of Reliance group, plans to set up an Aerospace CoE (Centre of Excellence) at Whitefield in Bengaluru.

Reliance Group has a total investment of Rs 5,000 crore in Karnataka across telecom, energy, financial services and entertainment sectors.

The Reliance Group Chairman, Anil Ambani, speaking at the Invest Karnanta 2016 - global investors meet, said "We are proposing to set up a Global Centre of Aerospace Excellence here in Whitefield, Bengaluru."

“I am here today to make a big commitment in that direction by announcing Dhirubhai Ambani Centre for Innovation and Research in Aerospace to be set in Bengaluru," he added.
