TVS King EV MAX debuts with 179 km range, priced at ₹2.95 lakh

Launched in Tamil Nadu, powered by a 51.2V lithium-ion LFP battery, the vehicle delivers a certified range of 179 km on a single charge and can accelerate from 0–30 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 60 km/h

Electric autorickshaw TVS King EV MAX offers three driving modes—ECO, City, and Power—and charges up to 80 per cent in 2 hours and 15 minutes.

TVS Motor Company has launched its new electric passenger three-wheeler, the TVS King EV MAX, in Tamil Nadu. The vehicle will be available at an ex-showroom price of ₹2.95 lakh, the company said in a statement.

The TVS King EV MAX is powered by a high-performance 51.2V lithium-ion LFP battery and offers a certified range of 179 kilometers on a single charge. It can accelerate from 0 to 30 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 60 km/h, with three driving modes: ECO (40 km/h), City (50 km/h), and Power (60 km/h). The battery charges up to 80 per cent in 2 hours and 15 minutes, with a full charge taking 3.5 hours.

Designed for urban conditions, the vehicle can handle gradients of up to 31 per cent and water-wading depths of 500 mm. It also comes with free maintenance for three years, a six-year or 1,50,000 km warranty (whichever is earlier), and 24/7 roadside assistance during the initial three years.

Feature-wise, the TVS King EV MAX includes TVS SmartXonnect™, a Bluetooth-enabled telematics platform that provides real-time navigation, vehicle diagnostics, and customizable fleet management features accessible via smartphones.
