The Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) said on Wednesday it would extend all kinds of financial assistance for the growth of the country's leather products industry.
Addressing the silver jubilee celebration of the Indian Leather Products Association, K.H. Muniyappa, Minister of State for MSME, Independent Charge, said, “We will provide all sorts of financial assistance to the leather products industry. Growth of this industry means more export, foreign exchange and employment generation.”
According to him, the Government has raised the credit guarantee limit in the 12th Five Year Plan and it would help the industry enhance its export through quality production.
