Mudumalai sanctuary to be closed from today

The Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary in nearby Nilgiris district would be closed for people from today, due to dry conditions in the area. Official sources said acute water shortage has led to prevailing dry conditions in the area and animals are expected to stray out in search of water.
