Mr Anil Kumar Agarwal has taken over as the Director General of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) under Ministry of Labour & Employment.
Mr Agarwal is an IAS officer of the 1981 batch. Before this he was serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Resources Development Department, Government of West Bengal.
A graduate from IIT Kanpur and post-graduate from IIM Bangalore, he also has a Master’s degree on International Affairs from Columbia University, US.
