With a view to creating awareness among citizens to exercise their franchise and participate in the polling process, the Election Commission has decided to tap the mass communication potential of the art of magic.
As part of the Election Commission's voter awareness programme, a 25-minute show led by magician Mr Gopinath Muthukad will be presented by ‘Magic Academy' at Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.
The programme, which would be inaugurated by the Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala, Ms Nalini Netto, would be telecast throughout the state, Mr Muthukad told PTI here.
