United Arab Emirates Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan is visiting India to participate in the bilateral Strategic Dialogue and the 15th India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan is in India on a three day visit, from December 11-13. “His visit will further strengthen the multifaceted comprehensive strategic partnership between India & UAE,” MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in a post on X on Thursday.

The India-UAE Strategic Dialogue will be co-chaired by the visiting Minister and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.

The two are expected to review all aspects of India-UAE bilateral relationship, including strategic and economic, in their meeting.

India and the UAE implemented a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in May 2022 to increase bilateral trade and investments further.

Last year, the two countries signed an MoU on establishing a local currency settlement system between the Reserve Bank of India and the Central Bank of the UAE.
