CARS24 inaugurates 2nd R&D centre in Karnataka

CARS24, an autotech company has inaugurated its second research and development (R&D) centre in Bengaluru, Karnataka to advance innovation, growth and build an ecosystem.

The company has also announced the addition of Shobhit Shrivastava as the Senior Director of Engineering.

In this new role, Shrivastava will lead the engineering team, driving innovation and elevating the technology that empowers CARS24. His responsibilities extend to overseeing the AU tech initiative and fostering seamless collaboration with business, growth, and product teams.

This centre plays a pivotal role in achieving our growth objectives. We are thrilled to welcome Shobhit Shrivastava on board. Driving innovation

With the launch of a new R&D centre, CARS24 continues to drive auto tech innovation and has reaffirmed its commitment by inaugurating its second Engineering R&D centre in Bengaluru, six months after the launch of the first one. This advanced facility is dedicated to advancing solutions for inspecting, refurbishing, and reconditioning used vehicles. 

Powered by AI algorithms, the centre is poised to set a new industry standard by ensuring precise vehicle valuation, further solidifying CARS24’s position as a leader in customer satisfaction, said the company. 

Leveraging statistical models and machine learning, they will forecast future demand, identify growth opportunities, and optimise pricing strategies. The platform is also actively seeking talented engineers, developers, and technology experts to join its team.
