3i, Cloupia tie up for cloud, data centre services

3i Infotech has joined hands with cloud automation and management software provider Cloupia to offer and deliver cloud and data centre automation services worldwide. This cloud-based service aims to reduce the capital and operating expenses through an orchestration layer for automated dynamic management of servers, storage, network and applications as a collective unit, according to a press statement.

“Together with Cloupia, we are uniquely addressing enterprise challenges by looking at the data centre from the business perspective and driving innovation down to and across all components,” said Mr Babji VS, Senior Vice-President, Global Head Infrastructure Management Services, 3i Infotech.

“Cloupia's unified infrastructure controller will give customers an automated, virtualised, cloud-ready and sustainable data centre infrastructure and provide the unique advantage of a flexible foundation for long-term growth and sustainability.” As part of this effort, the operations will be supported by 3i Infotech's Global Delivery Center who are equipped to monitor and manage the services using the unified infrastructure platform.
