Aegis names interim CEO

Aegis, the business process outsourcing arm of the Essar Group, has appointed Sandip Sen as its interim Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1. This follows the exit of Aparup Sengupta, Managing Director and Global CEO at Aegis. Sengupta, who had been heading the BPO company for the past eight years, has moved to a different role in the group. As the interim CEO, Sen will lead and manage the BPO business of Aegis, which represents over 80 per cent of its revenues of over $1 billion.
