Aircel offers local calling at 10 paise/min

These rate cutters are especially aimed at the student community who like to be connected to their friends 24X7.

Telecom service provider Aircel on Monday said that it has slashed local calling rates by 90 per cent to offer local calling at 10 paise/min, the company said in a statement.

The company has launched two rate cutters – one priced at Rs 27 which offers all local calls at 10 paise/min for first 100 minutes and post that 40 paise/min with a validity for 21 days.

The second rate cutter is priced at Rs 11 which allows customers to make all local Aircel to Aircel calls at 10p/min with a validity of 15 days.

“The products will enable our customers to talk to their family and friends at low call rates. The products are especially aimed at the student community who like to be connected to their friends 24X7 and the rate cutters will provide them the ease and convenience to do so,” Anil Gupta, Regional Manager (North), Aircel, said.

The company strives to bring an element of ‘Extra’ in its products as a simple way to bring joy and happiness to its customers, he said.
