Amazon.in launched Amazon Pantry, its grocery and household essentials arm, in Chennai today.
With this expansion, Amazon Pantry is now available in 29 cities.
Using Amazon Pantry, customers in Chennai can shop for over 4,000 everyday essentials from over 250 brands of groceries and household products, according to a press release.
Amazon Pantry also offers some selection to customers, which is specific to Pantry. The store offers essentials including regional brands specific to cities, categories like snack and biscuits, home needs like detergents and shampoo, child care products and pet products.
All orders are shipped in special boxes from Amazon warehouses near cities so customers can get their delivery the very next day.
