Cognizant Technology Solutions will hire 10,000 more full-time employees in the US in the next three years.

“Because of structural changes in business driven by regulation, consolidation, globalisation and virtualisation of businesses and emerging social, mobile, analytics and cloud technologies, we see continued demand for our business. The hiring is to meet continued demand for its business,’’ Gordon Coburn, President, Cognizant, said in a release.

The New Jersey-based software company with large presence in India also announced a three-year, $150,000 commitment to support university-sponsored science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education programmes at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

Cognizant is one of the largest STEM recruiters in the US, the release said.
