Downgrade not to hit TCS business

The country’s largest software exporter, Tata Consultancy Services, has discounted any impact of the US downgrade on its business from this geography.

“We do not see any material impact from the sell-off in global markets. We are watchful of the evolving global situation but do not see any changes in the business demand environment in North America and Europe.  We continue to work closely with our customers to help implement their business plans in a volatile environment," Mr N. Chandrasekaran, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the company, said in a press statement.

TCS generates almost 53 per cent of its revenues from North America.
