Back office company Firstsource Solutions has reported a 29.7 per cent rise in net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2014.
Net profit for the BSE-listed company went up to Rs 53.2 crore from Rs 41 crore in the corresponding year-ago period.
Revenues went up by 5.1 per cent to Rs 755.6 crore (Rs 719.1 crore).
Firstsource had reduced 519 employees in the quarter gone by to take its employee base to 27,147, as per a press statement. During the same period, the company bagged deals with annual contract value of $36 million.
