Armin Meier, former chief executive of Kuoni Travel and chief commercial officer of Travelport, has joined the board of IBS Software as an independent director.
Armin has more than three decades experience in IT and travel industry, a spokesman for IBS Software said here.
He was President and Chief Executive of Atraxis, an autonomous IT company within the Swissair group. He served the Federation of Migros Cooperatives, Zurich, the largest retail enterprise in Switzerland, as member of the executive committee and head of logistics and IT.
Armin was the group chief executive officer of Kuoni Travel Holding, Zurich, leading the operations of the European leisure travel company.
He also served Travelport, one of the largest travel content aggregators and distributors with a footprint in over 170 countries.
He is currently Managing Director of Boyden Global Executive Search, Zurich.
