India Gadget Expo 2015 kicks off in Hyderabad

The second edition of four-day India Gadget Expo 2015 was inaugurated by Telangana IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao here at the Hitex exhibition facility at Madhapur, Hyderabad.

The IGE2015 will showcase products, solutions from 50 startups that built products and services around IoT and other technology areas. 

The organisers said Five@5 season would have five product launches every day for 4 days. A 30-hour Hackathon Carnival would be held. 

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the show, the minister said the government was planning to provide broadband to all households in the state in the next three years.

IGE2015 Chairman J.A. Chowdary has asked the Telangana government to provide testing facilities for SMEs in the electronic hardware industry. 

He also asked the government to change the curriculum in colleges to help prepare good skilled human resources.
