Localbanya plans pan-India expansion

Online grocer Localbanya has expanded its operations to Hyderabad. The e-commerce firm now has presence in Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad.

The firm, which raised Series A funding from Shrem Strategies early this year, is planning to expand to more cities by December.

The three-year-old firm has over one lakh customers and registers about 1,000 deliveries a day, Localbanya co-founder Rashi Choudhary said here on Thursday.

With 14,000 products on offer, the firm sees an average order size of Rs 1,400. It has about 300 employees.
