KeyPoint Technologies, a user interface technology provider, has tied up with mobile maker Lava to enhance Iris 402e phone’s user-experience with a localisation solution for the Indian market. KeyPoint’s Adaptxt offers keyboard in 120 languages.

“Localisation is about being relevant to the local culture. In India we support 10 most used Indian languages,” Sumit Goswami, Chief Executive Officer of KeyPoint Technologies, said here in a statement.

Quoting TRAI data, he said only 15 per cent of the 86 crore mobile users use English as their language of communication. “Addressing this huge and fast growing demand for local content in India, we have developed the localization solution to suit the Indian market,” he said.
