Nokia India on Thursday launched two smartphones from its Asha series — 311 and 305 — priced at Rs 7,139 and Rs 5,029, respectively.

The touch phones come with user interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate. The Asha 305 (dual SIM) is available in the market, while 311 will be available starting August 12, the company said.

The company will offer free download of 40 Electronic Arts games that customers can keep forever, paying only the data charges that apply.

“With the launch of Nokia Asha Touch range, we are strengthening our range of ‘mobile Internet’ devices that offer these experiences to the customers,’’ Viral Oza, Director-Marketing, Nokia India, said.

The phones with cloud-accelerated Nokia browser 2.0 are optimised for faster experience, applications, games and social networking, he said.

The Asha 311 comes with 15 levels of well-known game Angry Birds pre-loaded on to it. There is a pre-loaded social client for better access to Facebook, Twitter and other global social networks, the company said.
