The technology start-up scenario is in for a big change following the Union Budget’s encouraging proposals.
Start-up entrepreneurs are upbeat that the Finance Minister has taken measures that will give a boost to young technology talents and the enterprising youth in the country.
“The Budget is very promising and very positive for the start-up sector,” Pranav Kumar Suresh, CEO of Kochi Startup Village, the first tech start-up in the country on the PPP mode, told BusinessLine .
Suresh pointed out that there were three major proposals that would be very positively impact the fast developing start-up scene in the country — funds allocation for encouraging start-ups; the possibility of foreign funds coming into the sector and the promise of improving the ease of doing business and ease of closing business.
