Thinksoft Q2 net dips to Rs 3.81 cr

Finance and Banking software testing service provider Thinksoft Global Services on Thursday reported a marginal dip in its net profit at Rs 3.81 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.

The company registered a net profit of Rs 3.97 crore during the corresponding period last year, Thinksoft Global Services said in a filing to the BSE.

For the six month period ended September 30, the net profit soared by 94.3 per cent to Rs 11.25 crore as against Rs 5.79 crore registered during the same period last year.

The total income for the second quarter ended September 30, 2012 grew to Rs 41.20 crore, from Rs 29.96 crore.

For the six month period ended September 30, the total income of the company rose to Rs 82.41 crore as against Rs 58.12 crore registered during the same period of last year.

The company at the Board of Directors meeting today declared an interim dividend of Rs three (at 30 per cent) per equity shares of Rs 10/ each fully paid up to the shareholders for 2012—13.
