Vodafone India has launched a national roaming plan for its pre-paid customers, enabling its subscribers to receive calls for 30 paise per minute.

The price point for the new national roaming plan varies from state to state and ranges between Rs 26 to Rs 47, and while in Delhi, there are two price points Rs 21 and Rs 42.

The outgoing call rates under the plan are at 1.50 paise per second for all local and STD calls, while roaming or at home, the company said in a statement.

“The new national roaming plan has been specially created for those who tend to travel a lot on a regular basis. They can now talk more without worrying about high roaming costs,” Vivek Mathur, Vodafone India Chief Commercial Officer, said.

The plans come with a roaming incoming benefit of 30 days and tariff validity of 180 days.
